Spices

Sea fennel

Spices are used to flavour food and make us enjoy the food more. They usually support the digestion.

We can find many spices out in nature as long as we know them, for example: bay laurel, fennel (fruits and leaves), sea fennel, flowers of rosy garlic, poppy, rocket, juniper, caper and above all many plants of the mint family with their essential oils: lavender, rosemary, sage, thyme (in the Balearics headed thyme); and as an ornamental tree false pepper.

It changes according to the place where we are and we have to know different plants.
